On September 6th, 2024, a significant step was taken in advancing medical education for students in Gaza. Dr. Yousufuddin Shaik and Dr. Nadeem Ahmed, representing Doctors of Rahman, met with Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister, Mr. Dar, and Dr. Faisal, the Pakistani Ambassador to the UK. The meeting, held at the Pakistani Consulate in London, resulted in a groundbreaking agreement to support clinical rotations for medical students from Gaza in Pakistan.

This collaboration marks a new chapter for students in both medical and dental fields, providing them with valuable opportunities to complete their clinical rotations at top universities in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, and Lahore. These institutions are known for their advanced medical programs, and this initiative will help students from Gaza continue their education in a well-equipped and supportive environment.

With the backing of Pakistan, students from Gaza will now be able to pursue hands-on clinical experience and further develop their skills, ensuring they return home with enhanced expertise to serve their communities. This partnership stands as a testament to the power of international collaboration in fostering educational growth and medical excellence.

This initiative not only strengthens the bond between Doctors of Rahman and Pakistan but also demonstrates a shared commitment to improving healthcare through education.
