Gaza City, Palestine; November 2025. Doctors of Rahman (DOR), a UK-based humanitarian medical organisation, has been honoured by the Faculty of Medicine at the Islamic University of Gaza and the Palestinian Medical Forum Students’ Branch for its outstanding contribution to supporting medical education in Gaza.

The Acknowledgment and Appreciation Award was presented to Dr Nadeem Ahmed, Consultant in Intensive Care and Anaesthesia, on behalf of Doctors of Rahman during his recent visit to Gaza in November 2025. The recognition highlights the organisation’s pivotal role in advancing the medical education journey in the Gaza Strip and its support for the graduation of the 14th cohort of the Faculty of Medicine.

Medical and Dental Student Support (GHOPE Initiative)

Through scholarships, mentoring, and academic partnerships, Doctors of Rahman and MIAT are enabling these students to complete their education and rebuild the healthcare systems of their nations.
We believe that empowering future doctors is one of the most sustainable ways to heal communities torn by conflict.
